Dallas Beats Packers on Thursday Night Football

November 30, 2007

The Dallas Cowboys are now, if not before, the clear favorite in the NFC. After beating their main competition for the consensus NFC favorite son, the Green Bay Packers, on Thursday Night Football, you can expect to see Dallas’ star rise in the weekly rankings and polls. Will they be #2 to the Pats? We will have to wait until Tuesday to find out. The game was pretty good for a nationally televised NFL matchup. The Packers were within three points at the start of the fourth quarter. However, Farve was not in the game to lead a comeback, so Romo got the win by default.

Since it’s Friday at the Super Bowl Blog you should have fun with some sports news. TheOnion.com has some very clever and funny sports articles to read for today. Personally I like the Ricky Williams article, because I blogged about the man earlier this week, and I find his actual story to be compelling and worth paying attention to. The title is “Ricky Williams Most Lucid Dolphin On Field,” and it gets the Super Bowl Blog’s Blog Subject of the Week Award. Have fun at the games you are attending this weekend, and if you don’t already have tickets, get them soon.
